Each lecture is of a 3-hour duration. They are mostly conducted on a weekly basis. There are between 18 to 22 lectures per paper for full-term courses.
Intensive courses commence in February / March and August / September, there are between 13 to 18 lectures per subject.
Most "catch-up" lessons are conducted during the weekends before joining the existing full-term classes.
Revision courses of between 6-8 lectures are conducted over an intensive 3-4 day period.

Syllabus :
The Syllabus is divided into three parts (Part 1, 2 & 3).
All Parts 1 and 2 papers are mandatory. Part 3 includes mandatory core papers as well as option papers. You are required to take 2 optional papers. You only need to pass 14 papers unless exemptions are awarded.
You can progress through the syllabus at your own pace. It is possible to take up to four papers at one exam session, taking papers in numerical order. Only the three core papers must be passed and sat in the same session.
However, ACCA operates a referral system for Part 3 core papers which means if you pass two of the three core papers and achieve a mark of between 30 - 49% in the third paper, you will be allowed the next two exam sessions to pass your remaining core paper. If unsuccessful in passing the referral within the next two exam sessions, then you will have to take all three core papers again. Examinations are held twice a year - in June and December.
