Description :
Petra Phonics Intermediate Level is suitable for children (Minimum age of 4 - 5 years old) who have completed Petra Phonics Basic Level or its equivalent.
Pupils must know the letter names and sounds of the alphabet and be able to write the letters using the manuscript script.
They must also have had training in VC and CV structures and be good with the auditory discrimination of sounds. Their knowledge of simple phonograms would be handy.
A placement test will determine the child’s suitability for this course.
The lessons are taught using a multi-sensory approach and logical thinking skills approach. The lessons are packed with interactive and fun activities like:

Description :
Petra Phonics Advanced Level is suitable for children (Minimum age of 5 - 6 years old) who have completed Petra Phonics Intermediate Level or its Equivalent;
Pupils must be fairly good readers and be able to read CVC and CVC + E words; Pupils must have a fairly good spoken and sight vocabulary and be quite familiar with English phonograms.
A placement test will determine the child’s suitability for this course.
Each lesson is packed interactive & fun activities like:
Listening to stories, telling stories and trying to write them
Playing Phonics games, reading and role play.
Interactive story time
Pupils will also be encouraged to do team story telling by expanding on a story line to form a story. This will establish a team spirit in children who will also learn the importance of waiting for one’s turn.
