The main aim of Petra’s English course for Primary students is to help them use the language confidently, appropriately & accurately, be it for oral or written purposes. We guide children in building their creative writing skills & a writing exercise is provided each lesson. We help them to understand what they read & hear, to master ideas, & to restate them in their own way. We also teach them to write down their thoughts & to be able to formulate their own ideas. While encouraging creative imagination, we also insist on correctness of written & spoken English. To fulfill our aims, we place great emphasis on the importance of reading- in & out of class, both for comprehension & pleasure. We teach grammar & tenses systematically by way of usage. We emphasize the necessity of acquiring a sound, working vocabulary as well.

Lower Primary Level Course schedule
Wednesdays, 3.00pm -5.00pm and 4.30-6.30pm
Fridays, 9.00am - 11.00am
Middle Primary Level Course schedule
Wednesdays, 2.30 - 4.30pm
Saturdays, 9.30 - 11.30am and 11.00am - 1pm
Upper Primary Level
Wednesdays, 3.00 - 5.00pm
Saturdays, 9.30 - 11.30am
